*Four Month minimum with a one month deposit. Balance of stay time is due upon arrival. Any unused time can be reimbursed if we are able to rent up the same time frame. Monthly lot rent starts on the first of the month and ends on the last day of the month. We have a coin laundry but no shower facilities.
Lot Rent & Maintenance Fee’s
Since we are a resident owned cooperative you have your choice if you buy a home on a rental lot, you can either continue to rent the lot or you may buy the lot. The cost of the lot is at $29,900. The comparison between owning a share and renting is shown in the chart below
The lot rent is at $310 per month where it has ben for the past four years and before that it was reduced from $325 to $316 and then to the current $310. The lot rent includes the taxes on the property, the refuse fee, the sewer fee, the palm tree trimming, as well as the maintenance for the common facilities.
The maintenance fee for share holders is at $50 per month for the past four years, and before that is was reduced from $85 to $65 and then to the current $50. The maintenance fee includes the sewer fee, the palm tree trimming as well as the maintenance for the common facilities.
Out of the current 114 lots we have 44 rental lots and 70 share owned lots. We have been averaging 3 to 4 share purchases each year.
