President, Don Geiger called the Board of Directors meeting of Hammock Estates, ROC, Inc. to order at 1:00 PM.
Board members present: Sharon Davis, Bob Dennis, Harold Drudge, Sylvia Epson, Don Geiger, lolene Mossburg, and Nancy Thompson.
Bob Dennis made a motion and Harold Drudge seconded it to accept the minutes of the November meeting, motion carried.
Ron reported that Eagles Pest Controfl had sprayed the club house at no charge, this service is provided free to us because the office supplies them with keys to enter homes to spray when the residents are gone. Ron passed a paper for each board member to sign giving Ron the right to vote for the board at any SWFLROC event. Our law group will be holding a workshop at Camp Florida Resort in Lake Placid on Feb. 3, 2012 and Ron invited the board to attend it with him.
The committees had no reports to make.
After ammending the rental policies, Sylvia Epson made a motion and Sharon Davis seconded it to accept them, motion passed.
Don Geiger reported that Ron VanHouten is the Park Manager, along with running the office.
The new windows have been installed and a rebate from Progress Energy will be applied for. Rebates have also been applied for for the insulation and the air conditioner. Ron explained the new thermostats, they are programmed to return to a pre set temperature after three hours.
A new stage plan was brought up to increase the size of the stage. lolene Mossburg made a motion and Sylvia Epson seconded it to go ahead with the new plans and construct it. Sharon Davis, Bob Dennis, Sylvia Epson, lolene Mossburg, and Nancy Thompson voted for and Dori Geiger voted against, motion passed.
The second notice of elections will go out Jan.28, 2012.
The Annual Share Holders meeting will be Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 in the club house.
President, Don Geiger adjourned the meeting at 2:12 PM.
